can’t live without

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a fabulous Memorial Weekend! 🙂

Today I’d like to share something (or a few “things”) I really can’t live without.  I’m sure everybody has a list altered to their own needs and beliefs.  This is mine.  Hopefully it’ll be helpful to some.  Especially during wedding (or any event) planning, or just any ordinary day out of life.  This list doesn’t include any beauty products or items we can purchase in store. (that list is coming soon ladies, hang tight)  These are “things” money can’t buy.  I’m sure many of you can agree that sometimes we allow LIFE to get the best of us.  It’s only natural.  Nobody has a perfect life.  Believe me.  Always remember that there is a rainbow at the end of every storm.  Smile and look forward to a better day to come.

Here are the things I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT.

  • A hug from someone I love.  I don’t know what it is about hugs, really.  But anytime I feel as if I’m having a bad day or an emotional breakdown, if somebody I love hugs me and reassures me that things are going to be okay.. I completely forget about my problems.  The next time you feel the same, hug somebody close to your heart.

  • Pouring your heart out.  If you feel as if you’ve had a lot built up on your mind.  Talk about it!  Talk to the person who is the cause of the problem directly.  Or just talk to someone trustworthy.  Problems can arise as we plan for the future. (weddings especially)  No solution can be found without speaking up on it.  Don’t ever feel like you should bottle up your emotions.  Those emotions can always multiply and turn into even bigger problems.  Speak up!
  • Going for a drive.  Believe it or not, this happens to help me clear my mind all the time.  BLAST your favorite songs and hit the highway!  Let it all go…. thoughts, tears, screams, whatever it may be.  Let it go.  At the end of the drive, you WILL feel so much lighter.
  • Praying.  Talking to God is always a good idea.  Whether you believe in him or not, he has a plan for us all.  Cleanse your soul by saying a prayer.  Take a few deep breaths, close your eyes and thank the man above for all that you have been blessed with.  He will give you the strength you need to pull through!

A great quote. ♥

Some things are always easier said than done.  One thing I have learned about stressing is that it never lasts forever.  Nothing lasts forever.  The only thing that will feel like forever will be that exact moment.  That is EXACTLY why you should never pay attention to your darkest thoughts and fears.  It is only temporary.  How interesting would your life be if it wasn’t for all the up’s and down’s?  Exactly.  Not interesting at all!  These things are what teach us important lessons in life.  To be better and do better.  If you’re a bride-to-be (or not) who is stressed and depressed over an issue you have encountered… just ask yourself if it will really matter in 1 year, or in 2 years, if you answered no, let it go.  If you answered yes, let it go.  Let it go!  Life is way too short to be anything but happy.  Positive energy!

Fun styling tip: You ALWAYS dress better when you’re in a good mood and have a happy soul.  No outfit is quite complete without a smile and a kind heart. 😉  (Those OOTD pictures can last a lifetime.)
